    this is a sun-dial or phalabha yantram devised by our ancestors for measurement of time based on sun's movements. angle made by the shadow of the raised stone slab is considered for finding out the time of the day.

    అన్నవరంలో పూర్వీకులు నిర్మించిన యంత్రం అనిపిస్తోంది. సూర్యుని బట్టి సమయాన్ని సూచించే యంత్రం అనుకుంటున్నానండి.
